Successful and expanding Mechanical & Electrical contractor seeks an assistant to their Senior Quantity Surveyor with view to developing to run own projects. Ideally you should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or have some relevant experience in the M&E industry.
Duties will include
- Assisting in procurement of sub-contractors
- Assisting the Senior QS with day to day tasks
- Assisting in Applications for Payment
- Building and submitting of variations
- Financial reporting
- Budget Tracking
The idea will be to help the Senior Quantity Surveyor and build your knowledge and experience. From there quickly move onto looking after a few projects self-sufficiently, working directly under the Commercial Manager.
