Small, very busy firm of solicitors seeking an energetic experienced legal secretary with at least 3 years of family experience to provide secretarial and and administrative support to the principal of the firm. The successful candidate will be the lead family secretary and therefore must be familiar with the new family court procedures and processes. Some experience in private client work would be an advantage as this will form part of the role as well.
Duties will include being the first contact for client enquiries both over the phone and in the office, audio typing, collating documents for Form E, trial bundles, briefs to counsel, typing legal forms, elementary drafting of documents, opening and closing files, drafting and submitting documents on MyHMTCS, dealing with obtaining Land Registry Entries, applications and registrations of Land Registry portal, diary management and general office duties.
Working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
