We are looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant to work for our M&E client based in Redhill. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll, benefits, and HR administration.


  • Process monthly and weekly payrolls including PAYE, net pay, auto-enrolment pensions
  • Submit Real Time Information (RTI) including FPS, EPS
  • Manage BACS payments, pay slips, P60s
  • Reconcile and process employee expenses
  • Handle new starter onboarding including P45 processing
  • Conduct leaver offboarding procedures
  • Maintain employee records, upload documents to HR system
  • Manage pension contributions, enrollments
  • Prepare and submit P11Ds
  • Track training records and professional qualifications
  • Respond to HMRC tax code notices
  • Post job adverts and screen applicants
  • Answer phones and general administrative tasks


  • Previous payroll experience in UK
  • Excellent knowledge of UK payroll legislation and RTI
  • Experience with payroll software
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Self motivated with ability to work independently


  • £14.90 per hour
  • 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Pension scheme
