We are looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant to work for our M&E client based in Redhill. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll, benefits, and HR administration.
Responsibilities:
- Process monthly and weekly payrolls including PAYE, net pay, auto-enrolment pensions
- Submit Real Time Information (RTI) including FPS, EPS
- Manage BACS payments, pay slips, P60s
- Reconcile and process employee expenses
- Handle new starter onboarding including P45 processing
- Conduct leaver offboarding procedures
- Maintain employee records, upload documents to HR system
- Manage pension contributions, enrollments
- Prepare and submit P11Ds
- Track training records and professional qualifications
- Respond to HMRC tax code notices
- Post job adverts and screen applicants
- Answer phones and general administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Previous payroll experience in UK
- Excellent knowledge of UK payroll legislation and RTI
- Experience with payroll software
- Strong MS Office skills
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Self motivated with ability to work independently
